Curious about Espadrille- It is a Spanish term for shoes and made of esparto rope ( esparto in Spain a coarse grass  with tough narrow leaves)

Espadrilles or espardenyes are casual, flat, but sometimes high-heeled shoes.

They usually have a canvas or cotton fabric upper and a flexible sole made of esparto rope.

The esparto rope sole is the defining characteristic of an espadrille; the part of the shoe above the sole vary widely in style.

Why Should I wear Espadrille

Espadrilles basically go with everything. From cutoff shorts to sundresses, you really can’t go wrong.

A great walking-the-dog shoe, it brings something to the table that a flip-flop just can’t.

It’s great for summer, the perfect shoe to throw on and keep the step.
